Congrats Muray!
Muray has moved out of Louis Nine House, NCS’s supportive housing program for young adults, and into her own apartment!
In addition to housing, LNH provides other services including case management, mental health counseling, and career and vocational resources. While living at LNH, Muray worked with the Options education and vocational program to take steps toward her goal of a career in fashion.
She expects to complete her associate's degree at Kingsborough Community College this spring and hopes to then earn a bachelor's degree. Last year, she completed an internship at Bombas which gave her the opportunity to design socks sold on their website!
Now, she has accomplished another major goal: moving into her own independent apartment in Brooklyn!
Everyone at NCS is so proud of Muray and her hard work. Our staff members worked closely with her to prepare her for the move and will continue to support her in her new home.
We can't wait to see Muray's continued success and wish her the best during this next chapter!
